Ordwa is operated by Hussle Digital (South Africa). We are the Responsible Party for account data under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). For your own customers whose details you store in Ordwa, you are the Responsible Party and we act as your Operator.
Account data: name, business details, email, phone, login identifiers. Business data you enter: orders, invoices, quotes, expenses, products, stock records, customer names and phone numbers. Technical data: device, browser, and basic usage analytics needed to run and secure the service.
To provide the service (including authentication, invoicing, payment tracking and catalogue storefronts), to send transactional emails such as verification codes and payment notifications, to offer support, and to meet legal obligations. We never sell personal information.
We share data only with infrastructure providers required to run Ordwa (hosting, database, email delivery, payment processing such as Paystack) under data-processing terms. Customer storefront pages expose only what you publish: product names, prices, and availability. We never expose cost prices or supplier details.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-scoped per business, and destructive operations (like pilot resets) require explicit confirmation with a backup export. We keep data while your account is active and for 90 days after closure for export, then delete it.
You may request access to, correction, or deletion of your personal information, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator. To exercise any right, contact us through the details on ordwa.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time.
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage for login sessions, theme preferences, and cart contents on customer storefronts. No advertising trackers.
We will notify account holders of material changes to this policy. Continued use of Ordwa after notice constitutes acceptance.
